Pet Medicine is a daily practice for resilience, capacity and ease.
Pet Medicine is a daily practice for resilience, capacity and ease.
Pet Medicine is a structured methodology that turns the human-animal bond into a daily practice for building resilience, increasing capacity, and navigating life with greater ease.
In practice, it’s the exhale that happens when your pet climbs into your lap.
The way your breath slows before you even notice it’s slowing.
The particular quality of silence between you and an animal who asks nothing of you except to be here.
Most people think that’s just comfort.
It’s medicine.
And it’s also the beginning of something much bigger than calm.
Pet medicine is not about using your animal. It's a sacred partnership where the healing flows both ways.
The practices are built on that bond. On science that explains what your body already knows.
And on something the science doesn’t quite say:
More pleasure. More grief. More aliveness. More of the full, sometimes overwhelming, always worthwhile experience of being human.
With the animal who already knows how to do exactly that.

I'm Jennifer Bronsnick, a licensed clinical social worker, NYU trained, with more than 20 years in the mental health field.
For five of those years, I spent my days conducting ESA evaluations. Thousands of conversations with people about their relationship with their animals. What they were struggling with. What was helping. What wasn't.
I kept noticing the same thing.
A conversation would move from "What are your symptoms?" to "Tell me how your pet helps you," and everything changed. Voices softened. Bodies settled. People described relief that nothing clinical had been able to touch.
I watched it happen again and again, across thousands of people. Their pets were reaching them in places nothing else could.
Then I would ask what else they were doing for support, and the answers broke my heart a little every time. Therapy was too expensive. The right therapist was impossible to find. For some, the therapy they had tried had done more harm than good.
They were not lacking the desire to heal. They were lacking access to something that actually worked for them.
Their pet was already working. Nobody had built a method around it yet.

I also bring something no credential can teach: lived experience.
I've survived hard things and built a beautiful life on the other side. I know what it feels like to need support and not have access to it. I know what it feels like to find aliveness in unexpected places: in a dog's presence, in the body, in pleasure, in the gradual expansion of capacity to hold more of your own life.
I don't believe traditional therapy is the only path. I don't believe you need a diagnosis to deserve support. And I don't believe healing has to be purely clinical.
It needs a little science. And a little magic. Both. Always.
So I built Pet Medicine. A synthesis of nervous system science, personal experience, qualitative data from thousands of client conversations, and holistic healing modalities, woven into a methodology that anyone can access, in five minutes, with the animal who's already trying to help them.
